 | One of the most interesting parts about DeFi is its undiscovered capabilities. YFI, Core, Nyan, and other projects are utilizing this decentralized blockchain powered model to bring finance to the masses with trustless smart contracts or immutable code. Building upon the current ideas and innovations will be paramount to the success and sustainability of DeFi, which is where Juggernaut (JGN) comes in. Juggernaut (JGN) is an ERC20 token that looks to add DeFi options to the everyday business concept or idea. As stated in their white paper, it will be able to "offer unique synthetic derivatives for specific business use cases". It does this by allowing "Wall-street trading standards such as synthetitc derivative rewards that can happen on-chain linked to multiple global standards. Blockchain technology is fundamental to our project because of its immutability and transparency, which instills trust in this new financial model. For instance, the governance token allows users to participate in market pool rewards and decision making (ex. increasing the spread between buy and sell price to attract more liquidity from the pool). JGN plans to use a case study centered approached to build its network. The first Case Study is called "jSKM: DeFi Synthetic Partnership". JGN is partnering with Skrumble Network "to build the first DeFi powered unstopped communication network. This partnership looks to build itself during a 12-18 month period which will be utilized to prove the overall methodology. During this phase, JGN looks to partner with 5 more strategic partners to expand on this business model. This case study will be built on the industry leading Skrumble Network Protocol where JGN will leverage an ecosystem run on physical VPN modulators to break through firewalls and deliver freedom of speech. JGN aims to do this by incentivizing users with DeFi rewards for powering a unstoppable VPN network that is decentralized and unable to be manipulated like modern day VPN's. Being a new token, the JGN contract was launched on 8/11/2020 and is verified by Etherscan (contract address is 0x73374Ea518De7adDD4c2B624C0e8B113955ee041). The total supply is 150,000,000 JGN with a current price of $0.3548 with $7, 791.59 trading volume in 24 hours. Token distribution can be seen in the graphic below provided by the whitepaper. One of the most interesting and exciting parts about the beginning of this project is its official Gate.io IEO and listing announcement! JGN will officially be listed on its first major exchange (outside of Uniswap), Gate.io, which will be live shortly after 8:00 AM on 10/09/20. Gate.io has a great reputation and is consistently ranked as one of the most secure and trusted exchanges in the cryptocurrency industry. Gate.io is launching JGN on its startup platform which will privides users with access to innovative and advanced projects in their early stages. in addition the IEO will start at 4:00 AM GMT on October 9th and will last approximately 2 hours finishing at 6:00 AM GMT. There are a lot of moving parts and new features rolling out, like Juggerswap, which is still in beta.
