Best way for cryptocurrency (CC) transactions between Europe (EUR) -CC (BTC) - USA (USD)?

Hi guys, typically personal transactions are done from Europe (EUR) to USA (USD) by bank transfer, transferwise etc,. There is always fees related to each transfers, such as wire transfers or "buying" the other currency at a price much lower than the current FOREX trading price. Was wondering if any one in here has any good tips or suggestion on how cryptocurrencies or cryptoexchanges would be a better option for such transfers? For example: Perhaps one must buy in Europe x amount of bitcoin send it another wallet in USA and then sell those bitcoins in USA for USD, then do a bank transfer.
