Bitcoin was "overextended" back then, so I thought that I'd be able to at least 2x my investment in alts like ELF, ETC, ICX, REQ, XVG, TNB, MTH, APPC, XRP, STRAT, SUB, GTO, MTL... you get the point. Very smart of me. Most of these are 80-98% down at the moment, and BTC just made a new ATH.
I've begun accumulating again in the spring of 2019, and now I have a nice stack of BTC, ETH, ADA, LINK and DOT, and have no intentions in chasing other alts. Learned my lesson. I'm already over 2x so that's good.
My question for anyone in a similar situation - what did you do with your "smart" alt "investments" from 2018? They've been sitting for 3 years, so yeah, I can afford to let them sit for another 3, but does it even make sense? Is it smarter to just convert them back to BTC and forget about them? Will any these projects ever come to life or just be forgotten?
