I am one of the many unlucky US customers that is getting kicked off the exchange. Last month on Jan. 6th, I withdrew all the coins/tokens that have been sitting on Binance since 2017 (I would have just sold them all for BTC or ETH but they wouldn't even let me do that due to restrictions). Anyway, everything processed fine except for my NEO withdrawal. I withdrew most of it earlier, but I still had 8.22 NEO left on Binance. I know I have to withdraw integers of NEO so I was *okay* losing the .22, and I just withdrew the 8 NEO.
Binance says that the transaction went through and is "confirmed on the blockchain". The transaction ID is 428da452f199dc55f34401e63d08f31ac5cbb74599570426907a255a44433c1a
I may be confused with how NEOSCAN works, but the above link just takes me to the NEOSCAN homepage. When I copy and paste the tx ID, it doesn't come up with anything. So then, I looked at my NEO address on NEOSCAN here: https://neoscan.io/address/AeJHwhJ5rNdvqPDSnhXd2E6ApmsNdtfFJJ
As you can see, there hasn't been any NEO transferred into my account since early 2020. I did start selling my NEO on the 18th, but there hasn't been any NEO transferred into my account even though Binance claims it is "confirmed". The Binance support bot says that I should contact my wallet provider if it isn't showing up, but since I don't see it on the blockchain, I don't think contacting the wallet provider will help at all. I double checked to make sure the withdrawal address was correct. I really have no idea where my NEO has gone and where Binance got the tx id above. It doesn't seem to be a valid tx id for anything from what I can tell (please correct me if I'm wrong).
I know this is a relatively small amount, but this type of treatment of customers is unacceptable. This is the reason it's so hard to get new people into crypto. I've been in the space for a long time, and if I can't figure out where my NEO has gone, then there's a serious problem. I don't know where else to take this except for reddit since Binance won't respond to my ticket and I can't find an email for them. I understand they are probably very busy but a month is more than enough time to take a look at my case. Please help me find my 8 NEO!!
