Hi everyone. Apologies up front if this is a dumb question, I don't understand any of this. I'm very new to cryptocurrency investing and trying to understand the changing landscape and risks involved with investing in some of the popular DeFi tokens. My question has to do with the eventual widespread adoption of blockchain tech by the existing financial infrastructure. As major banking and investment institutions begin to move into the digital asset space is there any concern that those institutions will start from scratch with their own projects vs. leveraging existing ones? How hard would it be for the US Fed Reserve Bank to start a whole crypto blockchain ecosystem from the ground up and then mandate institutions to operate within that structure? Or is that not how any of this works?
